Excitement at Work

First things first I'm on track to hit quota for the second month in a row, so that it is exciting, at least for me. But on to the real excitement. My district manager and my sales person are under investigation by the FBI. Some good ole' white collar crimes. I've heard of numerous things that they have done from buying several laptops for family and friends to running up $1000 cell phone bills on compay phones. To giving away engines to their girlfriend. I knew that my sales person was getting investigated by the company but I had no clue it was this big. Always lots of fun at NAPA. Talk to you later. - B.S.

Good Saturday For College Football

It was a good football weekend for me. The Ags won 31-0. The Tigers won 53-3. There were many upsets...#7, #14, #17, #18, and #25, among others. Also, I won the pick em' contest this week. So, it was a nice rebound from last weeks humiliation. - Super Dave

P.S. - For those of you who watched the Arkansas vs. t.u. game, I can't believe that the razorbacks let the game slip through their fingertips like that. :-(

There is nothing like hearing your roomate knocking on your door at 6:00am saying, "Get dressed the cops are here, we need to go!!" There is something slightly exhilarating about that. So you get dressed in the clothes you find on the floor and turn the corner to go down stairs and it is not just a cop but a S.W.A.T. team member at the bottom of your steps in full gear helmet and everything. The first things out of my mouth was good morning, which he replied morning to you, lets go! Then I ask if I need shoes? Like were going for a run or something. He says we need to go out the back, so he locks the door for us takes us out the back and then ask us to lock that door and takes us out front and tells us to go down that way, and if we hear gun shots to get behind the building. Us being Angie, Evan and me. We then procede to sit outside in the grass in the parking lot, we find a picnic table. Some nice ladies brought us orange juice and egg sandwhiches. So anyway apparently from what I've gathered Non-Esse? and his girlfriend got in a fight. Someone heard them screaming called the cops, the cops show up the girl runs outand NE barricades himself into his apt. Then swat comes out we have a standoff for ever then apparently he finally gave up. Well I'm only like 3 hours late for work, so I better be on my way. Have a nice day!

Thoughts while watching mud bowl 2004...(LSU vs OSU)

You guys are sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo lucky!!! You did not deserve to win that game. Ya'll played like crap for 2.5 hours, and then played well for 30 minutes and won. If Oregon State didn't have Ray Finkle kicking (Ace Ventura reference, "laces out"), ya'll would have been sunk. It would have been humiliating for ya'll to drop your first game after winning the national championship to a PAC 10 school (though not as humbling as losing to a Mountain West school...sigh). It would have ruined your season, and mine (I'll explain that in a sec), not to mention hurting everyone who is doing the pick 'em contest (since everyone rated the LSU vs OSU game as a ten). So Chad, call up "hair plugs" and tell him no more close one's like that! It was a great game, though. 'Tis the excitement of college football! Now, to explain why it would have ruined my season. Since the Aggies are doomed to another crappy season (A&M already lost to Utah 41-21, thus my Mountain West comment), I have to rely on my fall back team (the tigers) to provide me with happiness. So, if you take last years results for the two teams during the regular season (A&M 4-8 LSU 12-1), they have to even out this year or do better. So if ya'll lose a game this year, that means A&M will have to win one more than they did last year (or else I'll go into a deep state of football depression). So if ya'll go 9-2 this year (one more loss then last year) and A&M doesn't improve by at least one game to 5-6 (one more win then last year), then I will blame you (LSU fans) for the Aggies' woes (just like ya'll blame me for LSU losses to UAB in '00 and Florida in '03). So let's see if we can't work this out so we all go home happy at the end of the season. :-) Peace be with you. Thanks and gig' em. - David
