Thought that I would give everyone a shoutout...

It's seems that lately, only a few people have been posting or commenting regularly. Not that there is anything wrong with that, but I was wondering if that was because people don't know how, don't have anything to say, don't have time, or simply that there aren't very many peole who read the blog anymore. So I thought that I would use this time to see who all gets on here still. So, if you wouldn't mind, comment on this post, so I can see who all reads the blog. If you don't know how, simply click on the blue "comments" button at the end of this paragraph where it says "posted by doggus at 8:28:45 PM | 0 comments", to write a comment. When the next page opens, click where it says "post a comment". If you don't have an account, it goes to a page asking you to sign in; just click on the blue button that says "Or Post Anonymously" under the big blue button. When the next page opens, write a message and include your name at the end (so we know who you are and don't have to ask, which is the whole point of this), then click "publish your comment". Anyway, hopefully this will work and people will cooperate. Thanks.

Happy Thanksgiving!!!

I hope that everyone has a wonderful day. Enjoy your time with your family and friends.
I thought that I would share some things that I am thankful for. So first I'm thankful for my family. We may not always get along, but I love em. To my wonderful friends, you mean the world to me. And I'm thankful to have a good job, It may make me miserable some times but its a good job and it pays the bills. Again Happy Thanksgiving!!!

Texas Here We Come!!

Well, I got back from Atlanta last night about 7 and started washing clothes to leave for Texas today. I'll be spending thanksgiving in Texas with Jamie and Blake's house in Denton, Texas. Home of the North Texas Screaming Eagles. Who will be making like the 23 straight appeance at the New Orleans bowl. Atlanta was a blast had a real good time hanging out with Marty, Jay and Danny and everyone else. The confrence we went to was a little disappointing, I was expecting more. I think a few years ago I would've come away with tons of stuff thinking it was great. But the direction my spiritual life is heading and how I feel about youth group stuff isn't really what they were offering. Over all it was a good trip. On the way back we picked up the new U2 compact disc. I think this may be my favorite CD of theirs, I really enjoyed it.
To Josh, Adam and the rest of your family I will miss being with ya'll this Thanksgiving. It has been like 5 years,I think, that I have spent with your family. I have loved everyone of them. On a sentimental note, I really love your family. Enough of that.
On to college football this weekend. With Arkansas needing a victory to secure a bowl birth they be facing the savage Tigers of LSU. I predict Arkansas will be staying home this holiday season. It will be a close game but they will lose.
Gig Em AGS!!!! A&M against the horrible Texas Longhoes. I wish I could say they would destroy them. Well I got to go get ready to leave. I hope that everyone has a lovely thanksgiving and I hope to see some of you soon.

I just wanted to pat myself on the back and congratulate myself for winning our pickem contest. I led the whole season, and in the end, it wasn't even close. This is the first year that I've won since we started playing a few years ago. So, to some it up - IN YA FACE!!! ;-)

Well things have been pretty slow on here, so I figured I post and say Hi. Today was my last day of work for 12 straight days. I'm going to Atlanta with Marty, Jay and Jason for youth specialties a conention for youth workers and stuff. I don't know what I'm going to do with this many days off. I haven't had off more than a weekend since I went to Glorieta in like '03 or so. For some reason I think I'll manage ok. ha ha. I hope that everybody is doing well, I'll talk to ya'll later.

Torture Method!!

For those of you that were at 5:13 tonight, heard Marty talking about this quiz. So I went and found it. The test will rank what torture device you would be if you were a torture device. Just click the link above and then scroll down to take the test. My number 1 device was the stake. The good ole fashion way, tie them down and burn em.
